10. BRM, Great Britain – 17 wins
The British Racing Motors, or BRM, team came from Great Britain and was active in F1 in 1951 and from 1956 to 1977. It recorded its first victory in the 1959 Dutch Grand Prix, while its last win was in the 1972 Monaco Grand Prix. It competed in 197 Grand Prix races, winning 17. Its highlight came in 1962 when it won the constructor’s championship, while its driver, Graham Hill, won the driver’s title. It also placed runner up the next three years, as well as in 1971. Its last race was in the 1977 Italian Grand Prix.
9. Tyrrell, Great Britain – 23 wins
The Tyrrell team came from Great Britain and was active in F1 from 1970 to 1998. Its first win was in the 1971 Spanish Grand Prix while its last victory was in the 1983 Detroit Grand Prix. It competed in 430 Grand Prix, recording 23 victories. Its highlight came in 1971 when it won the constructor’s championship. It left F1 after the 1998 Japanese Grand Prix.
8. Benetton, Great Britain and Italy – 27 wins
Benetton competed in F1 from 1986 to 2001. The first event it won was the 1986 Mexican Grand Prix while the last time it emerged victorious was in the 1997 German Grand Prix. It competed in 260 races, winning 27 of them. It also won the constructor’s championship in 1995, aside from the title won by its driver, Michael Schumacher, in 1994 and 1995. The last race it competed in was the 2001 Japanese Grand Prix.
7. Red Bull, Austria – 34 wins
Red Bull joined F1 in 2005 and is the current constructor’s champion. The first race that the team won was the 2009 Chinese Grand Prix while its most recent victory as of March 23, 2013 was the 2012 Indian Grand Prix. It has so far competed in 146 races, winning 34 of them. It won the constructor’s championship from 2010 to 2012, as well as the driver’s title for Sebastian Vettel during that same period. The team uses a Renault engine fitted into the RB9 chassis. It has Pirelli tyres. Its current drivers are Vettel and Mark Webber.
6. Renault, France – 35 wins
Renault was active in the F1 circuit from 1977 to 1985, before making a comeback from 2002 to 2011. It won its first race in the 1979 French Grand Prix, while its last triumph was in the 2008 Japanese Grand Prix. It competed in 304 races, winning 35 of them. It won the constructor’s championship in 2005 and 2006, as well as the driver’s title during those two years for Fernando Alonso. It last competed in the 2011 Brazilian Grand Prix.
5. Brabham, Great Britain – 35 wins
Brabham was part of the F1 series from 1962 to 1992. The French Grand Prix was the first race it won in 1964, while its last triumph was in the 1985 French Grand Prix. It competed in 402 races, winning 35 times. It won back-to-back constructor’s titles in 1966 and 1967. Its drivers also won during those two years, as well as in 1981 and 1983. It stopped joining after the 1992 Hungarian Grand Prix.
4. Team Lotus, Great Britain – 79 wins
Team Lotus was part of F1 from 1958 to 1994. It won its first race in the 1960 Monaco Grand Prix, while its last victory was in the 1987 Detroit Grand Prix. It joined 491 races and won 79 times. It won seven constructor’s titles and six driver’s crowns. It last joined in the 1994 Australian Grand Prix.
3. Williams, Great Britain – 114 wins
Williams has been around since 1975, recording its first victory in the 1979 British Grand Prix. Its most recent win was in the 2012 Spanish Grand Prix. It has so far joined 592 races, winning 114 times. It has won nine constructor’s crown and seven driver’s championships. It uses a Renault engine and Pirelli tyres fit into the Williams FW35 chassis. Its current drivers are Pastor Maldonado and Valtteri Bottas.
2. McLaren, Great Britain – 182 wins
McLaren joined F1 in 1966. Its first win was in the 1968 Belgian Grand Prix while its most recent triumph was in the 2012 Brazilian Grand Prix. It has competed in 722 races, winning 182 times. It has won the constructor’s title eight times and the driver’s crown 12 times. It uses Mercedes Benz engine and Pirelli tyres. Its current drivers are jenson Button and Sergio Perez.
1. Ferrari, Italy – 219 times
Ferrari has been part of F1 since 1950, winning for the first time in the 1951 British Grand Prix. Its most recent victory was the 2012 German Grand Prix. It has raced 852 times, winning 219. It has 16 constructor’s titles and 15 driver’s championships. It uses Pirelli tyres. Current drivers are Fernando Alonso and Felipe Massa.
